Record US Trade Deficit Under John Kline

At Kline's campaign website he devotes no space to issues, and one letter to readers explaining how he's for a strong economy. If that's the case, then I guess it's time to give Kline his failing grade:

The U.S. trade deficit has reached an all-time high of $68 BILLION! as soaring oil prices and a cooling economy bring the gap to $68 billion. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, America spent a record amount on foreign oil and have lost nearly 3 million manufacturing jobs since Bush took office in 2000.

U.S. exports edged down 1.1 percent to $120 billion while imports rose to a record high of $188 billion, an increase of 1 percent from the June level. America's foreign oil bill climbed 4.8 percent to an all-time high of $28.5 billion,

Folks this isn’t rocket science. This represents the ‘selling- off of America". When we import more than we export, we are sending US money to foreign countries. Is it any wonder that we're finding it harding and harding to make ends meet? John Kline says he stands for 'faith and family, freedom and individual responsibility ' Where's his 'personal responsibility' for the selling of America and it's record deficit?
