Thumbs Down For American Health Care

John Kline is against providing Health Care to Americans...While he has the best 'Public Health Care' provided and underwritten by Uncle Sam...Mr. Kline doesn't want the same for you or your family. Kline votes continually to repeal patient protections and currently affordable health care provisions. In the past he has voted against any health reforms and in recent months he's voted to repeal mandatory funding provided to states in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Kline currently supports the Ryan Budget Bill which would gut Medicare and puts more seniors at risk by denying them affordable health care. He's even voted against the Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act!

While Kline seems to be okay with the government giving money to low income families, he wants it to be through for profit private health insurance companies...In other words, instead of government run health care designed to save money, Kline believes that while more expensive, private health care needs to be in charge! (Charge it to our taxes!).

In the last election cycle Kline has received more than $100,000 from PACs in the health industry including insurance, pharmaceuticals and health professionals. They give him money to buy a vote that continues to provide Americans with no choice but pay for high priced coverage.

No Reform + No Options + High PAC monies + High Premiums + Increase Taxes =

Tragically, Mr. Kline is the Chairman of the Education and Workforce Committee ... and as Chairman he has the power to determine what legislation is considered.
The term began with his committee assigned two main objectives :
#1. Repeal and replace Obamacare.
#2. Reform No Child Left Behind.

The Republican-managed House quickly passed the "repeal" portion however Chairman Kline has held few hearings on Obamacare ... largely to bemoan of its impacts on business (without acknowledging that over the past two years, small business owners throughout the country have already benefited from new access to tax credits ... in addition to the tax credits, the Affordable Care Act provides for small businesses to band together in health exchanges that will be created by a 2014 implementation date ... thus by forcing insurance companies to compete, these exchanges will drive down costs, guarantee choice, and put small businesses in control ... which is significant since insurance companies today charge small businesses in the individual market an average 18% more in premiums than larger businesses ... but Chairman Kline does not want to acknowledge that.)

Sadly, it is not as if Chairman Kline allocated his time to reforming the Education program ... his NoChildLeftBehind reform plan is in being presented in piecemeal format that the Republican-controlled House has not even scheduled votes for.

The message is clear ... Chairman Kline wants to wait until President Romney is in control ... President Romney has been purposely vague as to what specific programs he would cut ... but he has made is voice loud and clear on one subject -- "I'll repeal Obamacare, and I'll stop it in its tracks on day one".

Chairman Kline plus President Romney ... the message is clear ... an end to federal involvement in healthcare and education.
